چکیده

Eco-efficiency is a significant target for evaluating the agricultural ecosystem and measuring sustainable development through quantitative analysis. It also an essential part of constructing ecological tea garden, which offers directional function in realizing green industry. After eco-efficiency China’s industry using super-efficiency SBM model, this paper analyzes spatial disequilibrium dynamic evolution trend method Dagum Gini Coefficient Kernel Density Estimation. The results show that level was improved overall, significantly reduced. differences within region decreased as follows: regions Southwest China, South south Yangtze River, north River; overall difference mainly comes from contribution interregional regions, second intraregional super-variable density. has been both nationally top four regions; between areas largely alleviated, but there still room to optimize input–output structure promote eco-efficiency.

Enhancers of the energy efficiency in tea processing industry

The cost reduction of green tea processing, the control of fossil fuel resources, and the curbing of corresponding greenhouse gases emission depend on the energy efficiency of tea processing units. Therefore, it is imperative to identify and analyze factors determining energy efficiency of these agro-industrial units. To this end, the present descriptive survey was carried out on 40 managers of...

Technical Efficiency and Eco-Efficiency in the Manufacturing Industry: A Non-Parametric Frontier Approach

Poor environmental performance of the manufacturing activities is said to be attributed to the pollutants produced and emitted during the manufacturing process. These pollutants are regarded as undesirable output and cannot be ignored when measuring the efficiency of manufacturing activities. By applying Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Directional Distance Function (DDF) approaches, this st...

The efficiency and eco-efficiency of manufacturing

In this paper, we review the efficiency of both manufacturing processes and systems over recent decades and compare nano-materials technologies in this context. To a first approximation, nano-materials processes appear to be about as efficient as semi-conductor processes. That is, their second law efficiencies are of the order 10, while conventional processes are of order 10. However, many of t...
